TFLI US Inc., operating under various tradenames, including ConsumerExperts.Com (referred to herein as "we," "us," and "our"), recognizes that your privacy is important to you. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share consumers' personal information, and the choices available to consumers with respect to their personal information. This Privacy Policy applies to the personal information we collect whenever consumers access or use one of our websites that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Website"), communicate with us via email or on social media, or click on our digital advertisements. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use our Website.
We may revise this Privacy Policy periodically, and in such a case we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy accordingly. Changes are effective when published, so we encourage you to review this Privacy Policy from time to time. This Privacy Policy may also be supplemented or amended by other notices posted elsewhere, including on specific pages of our Website.
The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with us, and may include:
Inferences: We may draw inferences from any of the information above relating to your preferences, characteristics, or other matters.
We may also de-identify or aggregate the above information, at which time it is no longer "personal information." We will maintain and use de-identified information in de-identified form and will not attempt to reidentify it, except as permitted by law.
We may collect the information described above from various sources, including directly from you, from third parties we partner with, and through cookies or other automated means.
How we use the personal information we collect depends on how you interact with us, and may include:
We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you without a lawful basis, and where a state law provides a right to opt out of such profiling, we honor it as described below.
We may share information with third parties for certain purposes, including with:
Some of the disclosures described above - in particular, (1) providing your information to selected vendor partners for their own marketing, and (2) allowing third-party advertising companies to collect identifiers and internet activity through cookies and similar technologies for cross-context behavioral advertising - may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" (or "targeted advertising") of personal information under certain U.S. state privacy laws.
You have the right to opt out of these activities. See Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information below.
We do not collect, use, or disclose "sensitive personal information" (or "sensitive data") as those terms are defined under the CCPA and other U.S. state privacy laws - for example, government-issued identification numbers, Social Security numbers, financial account information, precise geolocation, or information revealing health, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, or similar categories.
Depending on where you live and subject to certain legal exceptions, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
Right to Appeal: In states that provide it, you may appeal our decision on your request. See How to Appeal.
You can exercise these rights as described in How to Submit a Request below.
You have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information and its use for targeted / cross-context behavioral advertising. You do not need to create an account to exercise this right. You can opt out in the following ways:
We will process your opt-out request promptly and in accordance with applicable law. Because opt-outs tied to a browser signal or cookie are device- and browser-specific, you may need to opt out on each browser or device you use.

California residents have the rights to: know/access, delete, correct, opt out of sale/sharing, data portability, and non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We will not retaliate or discriminate against you (e.g., by denying services or charging different prices) for exercising your rights,
except where a difference is reasonably related to the value provided by your data as permitted by law.
To exercise the right to know, delete, or correct, see How to Submit a Request. To opt out of sale/sharing, see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
You may use an authorized agent to submit a request. We may require the agent to provide proof that you authorized them to act on your behalf, and may require you to verify your own identity directly with us.
Separately, California's "Shine the Light" law (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83) permits California residents with an established business relationship with us to request, once per year, a notice describing the categories of personal information we shared with third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year. To make such a request, contact us at customerservices@consumerexperts.com with "Shine the Light Request" in the subject line. Please allow 30 days for a response.
We retain each category of personal information for the length of time described in the Retention section below.
If you are a resident of Alabama, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, or another state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, you may have the following rights, subject to that state's law and certain exceptions:
Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
The specific rights available to you, and any exceptions, depend on your state of residence. Some of the state laws referenced above have future effective dates; the rights described apply to you once your state's law is in effect. Certain states (for example, Florida) limit their comprehensive privacy law to businesses meeting size thresholds we may not meet, in which case those provisions may not apply. Where your state's law requires us to recognize a universal opt-out mechanism such as the Global Privacy Control, we honor it as described in Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.
To exercise any of these rights, see How to Submit a Request.
Nevada law (NRS 603A) allows Nevada residents to direct a company not to sell certain covered personal information it has collected or will collect about them for monetary consideration. This right applies even if your personal information is not currently being sold. To submit a verified request, contact us at customerservices@consumerexperts.com with "Nevada Opt-Out Request" in the subject line.
You (or your authorized agent) may submit a request to exercise your rights in any of the following ways:
Verification. To protect your privacy and security, we will take steps to verify your identity before granting a request to know, delete, or correct. We may ask you to provide certain information so we can match it to information we already maintain; we will use that information only to verify your identity. We cannot respond to your request if we cannot verify your identity.
Timing. We will confirm receipt of your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law - generally within 45 days, with the possibility of an extension of an additional 45 days (or as otherwise permitted by your state's law) where reasonably necessary, in which case we will notify you.
Cost. We will not charge a fee to process or respond to your request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded, as permitted by law.
If we decline to act on your request and you are a resident of a state that provides an appeal right, you may appeal our decision within a reasonable period by contacting us at customerservices@consumerexperts.com with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line. We will respond in writing within the timeframe required by applicable law and explain the reasons for our decision. If your appeal is denied, you may have the right to contact your state Attorney General to submit a complaint.
Our Website is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from any person under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, please contact us at customerservices@consumerexperts.com and we will take steps to delete it.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers we know to be at least 13 and under 16 years of age without affirmative opt-in consent (from the consumer for those 13-15, or from a parent/guardian for those under 13), consistent with the CCPA and other applicable laws.
Although we use reasonable safeguards designed to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of information provided over the Internet or stored in our databases. Your transmissions are therefore at your own risk.
We retain your personal information for the length of time needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy - including to provide our referral services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements - unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. To determine the appropriate retention period, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure, and the purposes for which we process it.
Our Website may contain links to websites owned and operated by third parties ("Third-Party Websites"). We encourage you to review the privacy policies of those Third-Party Websites so you understand how they collect, use, and share your information. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or content of Third-Party Websites.
If you engage with us on a social media platform (e.g., Facebook, X/Twitter), we may contact you via direct message or other social media tools. Your interactions with us there are governed by this Privacy Policy as well as the privacy policy of the social media platform you use.
This Privacy Policy is intended to cover the collection of information from residents of the United States. If you are accessing or using our Website, or otherwise interacting with us, from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. The data protection laws of the United States and other countries may not be as comprehensive as those in your country. By accessing or using our Website, you understand that your information may be transferred to our facilities and to the third parties with whom we share it as described in this Policy. We do not sell, offer, or otherwise provide services to individuals outside of the United States.
We welcome your comments and questions. Please contact us:
